Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager. Position will be responsible for tracking orders, monitoring inventory levels and updating customers on order statuses. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
Job Duties:
• Process customer order entry through email, fax and online portal
• Confirm orders against purchase order approval
• Monitor inventory levels and update clients on back-order product or product delays
• Update shipping department on urgent orders including last minute shipping scheduling
• Follow up with customers on all order changes in a timely manor
• Update internal tracking system with any order changes, delays or customer interactions
• Submit orders after processing for invoice creation
• Provide superior knowledge on all products and services
• Monitor orders for movement and ensure timely delivery
• Recognize and resolve all concerns or issues including adjustments or credits on opening and pending orders
• Quote prices for products and service
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Customer Service or Account Manager position
• Minimum of 5 years of experience processing orders, monitoring inventory
• Experience with SAP highly preferred or comparable system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
