Medical Facilities of America, a leading provider of post-acute, transitional rehab and skilled nursing services both in Virginia and North Carolina, has developed an elite leadership and management program called the Leadership Academy. The primary focus of this program is to identify, hire, train and develop Administrators as business leaders for the company.
There are two distinct stages of the Leadership Academy. Stage one is a six-week intense, company designed program that concentrates on contemporary leadership and management skills. This part of the program is conducted at the home office in Roanoke, Virginia.
Stage two of the program focuses on residency placements in selected Centers throughout the organization designed to advance leadership and business experience.
A Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred. Successful candidates offered a full time position in this program must agree to possible relocation based on the needs of the company.
